Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress who has appeared in Spanish TV and films. She appeared in films including Stockholm as well as the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is the daughter of Madrid native, born in 1989. The father of her Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, works as a painter. When she took her first piano lesson at the age of four, she started to learn ballet. She is fluent in English because she had an English-speaking best friend growing up. When she finished her studies in high school She enrolled in the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid and studied interpretation through her third year and specialized in interpretation of text, however she pulled out of the program in 2010 because she was chosen for the movie Planes para manana. The film won her a Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category and also an honorary nomination for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
